Madonna col Bambino (Musei Capitolini)
This “Virgin and Child” (Musei Capitolini, Roma), was firstly been attributed to Gaudenzio Ferrari, but Adolfo Venturi conferred the paternity its to the early period of Garofalo, due to the influences of Boccaccino, especially in rounded-eyes of the Virgin and in the high forehead of the Child.
On the other hand, Roberto Longhi has founded traces of Giorgione's style in the realization of the landscape in the background.
